Welcome from the Worshipful Master
Brethren,
It is with immense gratitude and excitement that I step into the role of Worshipful Master of Hugh Murray Lodge No. 602. I extend my heartfelt thanks to W. Bro. Gary McLean for his leadership, V.W. Bro. Martin Tees for serving as my Installing Master, and to our distinguished Grand Lodge Officers, visiting Brethren, and our Lodge Brethren for their unwavering support. Together, you made the Installation Ceremony and the wonderful dinner organized by W. Bro. Tribuwan Persaud a truly memorable experience that I will cherish forever.
I am deeply grateful to my mentors and the Investigating Board, who believed in my potential and prepared me for this important role. Your guidance has been invaluable, and I am committed to upholding the high standards of leadership and fellowship our Lodge is known for.
Looking ahead, I am excited to align our Lodge’s Long Range Plan with the Grand Lodge of Canada in Ontario’s Strategic Plan, ensuring a strong and vibrant future for Hugh Murray Lodge. Our calendar is already filled with opportunities for growth and learning, starting with several First Degrees, followed closely by Second and Third Degrees. I also look forward to enhancing Masonic Education during our Lodge Meetings to enrich our collective understanding of the Craft.
Emergent Nights will be dedicated to perfecting our Ritual and Floor Work. Practicing together in the Lodge builds confidence, precision, and the muscle memory necessary for Great Work. Let us embrace this opportunity to strengthen our bonds and refine our skills as Masons.
